Left Hip - CT Scan Images with Label
In the past, CT examination of the hips of postsurgical patients has been quite limited, because of the metal implants of the hip prosthesis caused an extensive artifacts that markedly degraded the ct scan images. Improvements in the design of CT systems now allow successful CT imaging of the total joint prosthesis and soft tissues around them. Therefore, CT is now frequently used in the preoperative planning of revision arthroplasty.
